The work was authorized and repairs were completed timely and at the price stated before hand. He even went above and beyond by spot welding a patch on the muffler.... at no additional charge.
Great customer service. Craig is courteous and explains everything well. My son's car was done in a timely matter. They even provided a ride home from dropping the car off. The overall price was a lot even with several discounts applied. But, I feel confident that the workmanship is quality. I value quality expertise and good customer service and care above saving money. I'd recommend Aamco of Metuchen to any one who wants to be treated like his or her business is appreciated and his or her car is in good hands. I even received a "thank you" card in the mail. We had transmission system fixed here. The service was amazing and very courteous. Unlike other auto repair stations, they were very frank and honest. They were precise on the services needed. The parts that were used were genuine and company original. Craig and John are humble to explain the problems in detail and wonderful management with good timely after service. Trustworthy and Reasonable!
This place is a diamond in the rough! I'm so glad I ended up going here. The service is great and fast; the owner Craig is always respectful and willing to help. I felt like he went out of his way for me to help me get the work done that I needed for my '04 Honda Accord as soon as humanly possible. Craig and his staff helped me prep my car for a long trip to visit my parents for Christmas. The whole staff is really very personable and I got the best prices here for the work I had done.

Ever since I took my car here it is running like a dream. Most honest, capable and fairly-priced mechanic I have ever met. The best in NJ as far as I am concerned. The only thing I wish is that I had started coming here sooner! I would have saved so much money, as my car would have been fixed reliably. Now I am introducing my whole family to him.

Craig will also fight for you and do his best to make sure you don't get taken for a ride if a repair needs to be done at the dealer, like an extended warranty on a defective part. On such an occasion (a second repair that my car needed), after leaving his shop upon having completed the first repair, he printed the dealer his diagnosis and even talked to them on the phone personally, and everything went smoothly.

After initial testing he was 95% sure it was not the transmission and even asked if he could hold onto the car another day to be sure. The second round of testing resulted in Craig saying he was 99% sure it was fuel and air intake related.
Craig said all testing and diagnosis was FREE. (HOW RARE IS THAT !!)
