A decent store with wide selection of organic and good quality items. I've been to this store three times last two time I had errors in the Bill, first time they charged for balsamic vinegar which for sure was not in my bag and second time they added an extra loaf of bread but I wanted only one bread. This I didn't want to ignore their mistake and had to drive back to return the product. I'm pretty sure it's their error bacause I keep track of every grocery bill because I had to produce it to my employer for reimbursement. While foods had to look in to this or else it's going to effect their reputation.
Finally had a chance to checkout this market after the long awaited wait! I was surprised that the prices are actually much lower then they use to be before Amazon bought them. You can actually buy whole veggies here and not be completely broke. This is my go to place for Organic eggs, Organic mik, and Wild Fish. There are tons of great options to choose from: cut veggies, fresh guacamole, fresh seafood, meats and much more. My favorite section is the hot food!! I love trying their hot soups, fresh made pizzas, and variety of hot food options. This is so convenient for picking up dinner while grabbing groceries. They also have a coffee bar with delicious drinks to choose from. And I was also excited about the Mexican restaurant with the beautiful decor and string lights. I'm going to try this next time since I picked up some Clam Chowder which is one of my favorites here!
So disappointed! I absolutely love whole foods in house vegan apple and pumpkin pie..I usually buy it at the one in Englishtown but I happened to be in the area here.. and not only were the pies horrible! But they cost $4 more..i thought maybe it cost more so it must be even better and more fresh...no! The pumpkin and apple were both over cooked and dry- the apples just tasted old..it tasted more like a frozen pie that they defrosted and let sit out .. ugh.. i was so upset because it is so hard to find delicious vegan pies and this whole foods let me down! Never again! But the staff is very nice here.
I do like Whole Foods for certain items. They generally carry some non-standard supermarket items like specialty foods and dry goods. Their prices for those items tend to be high but at least they carry them! However, some of the goods are way overpriced compared to a "normal" supermarket so you have to be very aware as you fill your cart. Certainly their meat, fish ans produce are usually superior to other markets but, again, watch the price!
Love to shop in this store as they support local stores.. but quality of fresh veggies or fruits going down... prices also high on some items.. high price organic items makes sense but conventional items are high compared to near by stores..
